Melbourne City Mission’s Melbourne Academy – Australian recipient

Part proceeds from the debut Music Matters IOA Charity Album go to support the Melbourne City Mission’s Melbourne Academy for disengaged and homeless young people. The Melbourne Academy is achieve excellent results in re-engaging young people with a good education, which in turn leads to better prospects of long term employment.  The Melbourne Academy was chosen as the Australian recipient after the Primary Perspectives’ team interviewed the Melbourne City Mission’s CEO, Rev Ric Holland early in 2015. The team were so impressed with what the Melbourne Academy is achieving that they wanted to make a contribution towards the growth of this exciting youth initiative. 

Joshua’s Heart Foundation – International recipient

Joshua’s Heart Foundation’s mission is to empower those in need, to improve their quality of life. The Foundation does  this by providing items of basic necessity, including food and water, which every human needs in order to survive. The team also engage and educate communities at home and abroad about how to take steps towards fighting hunger and poverty on a global scale.  Part proceeds of the debut Music Matters Charity Album go to Joshua’s Heart Foundation to support the distribution of food to hungry young people in USA.
