The Funky Kids Radio Global Children's Entertainment Awards are an annual online event that launched in 2020, which honours children's entertainers, storytellers, artists and authors, who create music, videos and stories suitable for families and children - from tiny tots to tweens

The Funky Kids Radio Global Children’s Entertainment Awards were launched at the end of 2020 in celebration of FKR’s 10th Anniversary, as well as to acknowledge children’s entertainers all over the world who were so deeply impacted by the global events of 202/21. These awards were an instant success with over 280 nominations received from 11 countries, and they are now an annual event on the Funky Kids Radio calendar, with nominations opening on 1 November each year. Finalists are chosen in January by a combination of People’s Choice voting and a Selection Committee and then the category finalists are assessed by an International Panel of Judges comprised per category of 2 industry professionals and 3 children/teenagers from around the world.
