Angel Berry

At just 13 years old Angel Berry is no stranger to the red carpet and is already an award winning spoken word artist, author of two children’s books, Kidz Hub broadcaster and a nominated actress with over 21 film and TV credits to her name – most recently scoring the role as Miranda Neil in the feature film ‘William Froste’. Signed with multi-platinum pop/hip-hop/R&B songwriter and music producer, Andrew Lane, (who has worked with artists such as the Backstreet Boys and Irene Cara) Angel worked with Andrew to write and narrate the opening for his music video ‘Strong’, a benefit song supported by numerous artists and dedicated to those who suffered in the devastating tsunami that hit the Philippines in 2013.

Angel is a true humanitarian and has produced a call-to-action video titled ‘Today I Learned’. This video has inspired many around the world, including celebrities Jim Carey and Juliette Lewis, and was awarded a Xristos Award at the Action on Film Festival. Angel’s animation video of her book ‘Clouds’, another collaboration with Andrew Lane, recently won a Best Shorts Award of Merit, a film festival that attracts many Oscar and Emmy winning film makers. ‘Clouds’ also won the Animation Filmmaker under 18 Award at the Hollywood International Moving Pictures Festival held in Los Angeles.

Current title holder for Miss Teenage North Calgary 2015 and recipient of the 2015 Inspiring Youth Award, USA, Angel has also been an ambassador reader for Calgary Reads since 2014 and her motto in life is “love yourself for who you are”.

I am so honoured to be apart of this empowering album celebrating youth from all over the world. Celebrating humanitarians though song and voice.
