Louis Chilton
Louis Chilton is a 19-year-old whose passion has always been singing. He has written around 30 songs so far and is looking forward to sharing them with the world in the future. Louis has taken part in several competitions in his home town of Koroit and surrounding towns in rural Victoria, including an event called Moyne’s Got Talent, which lead to recording a song for the 2014 Kool Skools album.
Louis has also been taking part in the Fast Track Singing Showcase Competition in Melbourne and has successfully made it to the series 3 2015 Grand Final. He was also fortunate enough to be asked to sing the Australian National Anthem at the Leila Rose Foundation All Stars Game in Warrnambool, which was a proud moment. While at secondary school Louis took part in all the school musicals from year 7-12, where his roles ranged from ‘Captain Hook’ in ‘Peter Pan’ to ‘Cole Porter’ in ‘Red Hot and Cole’. He currently works for a car hire business, as well as a children’s entertainer making balloon animals at festivals and local events, where he loves seeing the joy on children’s faces as they happily clasp one of his creations!
Louis’ powerful song ‘Harmony’ is about living in a world of equality as global citizens, without fighting or causing pain to others, treating our precious Earth with respect and most importantly living with each other in harmony, no matter who you are.
“Being on the Music Matters Charity Album has been one of the best experiences of my life!”
